It All Began . . .
Keith Butler has served in the ministry for over 39 years. Answering the call of God on his life at a young age, he and his lovely wife, Deborah, started Word of Faith Christian Center in January 1979. Services were held in a small, storefront building in Detroit, Michigan. Starting with just 10 people in attendance, including Keith and his wife Deborah, Word of Faith quickly grew. By 1998, Word of Faith had 20,000 plus members with Keith Butler as its pastor. Currently, Word of Faith Int'l Christian Center is located on 110 pristine acres in Southfield, Michigan. International was added to the church's name in preparation for the future world-wide ministry work that would come and is now here through KBM.
